Arthur Possing Quintet

Homes

What makes you feel at home? And where do you find it? The Arthur Possing Quartet explores these universal questions with its third studio album, HOMES.

HOMES transcends the idea of home as a simple physical place, inviting listeners to experience it as a feeling born from music and the connections we build with others. At times, these connections arise unexpectedly – in unfamiliar places or with people we have never met before – yet they carry an undeniable sense of familiarity and comfort.

One such connection shines through HOMES in the form of an extraordinary collaboration with Malagasy guitarist Joel Rabesolo. Known for his intricate melodies and profound expressiveness, Rabesolo infuses the album with a natural lightness and fresh sonic textures, embodying the spirit of musical sharing and communion.

Live performances of HOMES blur the boundaries between artist and audience, turning each concert into a shared journey. In these moments, the Arthur Possing Quartet creates more than music: it weaves a fleeting yet profound community, united by the magic of sound and the universal longing for belonging.

The album was officially released on 9 May 2025 on the Double Moon Records / Challenge Records labels.
