Bartleby Delicate is the avant‑garde folk project of Luxembourgish musician Georges Goerens, already recognized as the frontman of indie band Seed to Tree. Moving between intimate songwriting, electronic loops, and DIY experimentation, he shapes a universe in which the lyrics, inspired as much by philosophy as by literature, capture the tensions and contradictions of the millennial generation.

Winner of the “Best Upcoming Artist of the Year 2018” award, this nineties boy quickly drew attention far beyond Luxembourg, notably opening for Rodrigo y Gabriela and appearing in Tom Rosenthal’s “hidden gems” playlists. On stage, Bartleby Delicate turns his songwriter background into a genuine sound laboratory, blending fingerpicking, polyphonic vocals, field recordings, melancholic piano, and loops to craft a unique contemporary folk.

Following a well‑received debut EP, “Whatever We Find Suitable To Compare”, he continued with “Deadly Sadly Whatever”, a cinematic‑tinged record that pushes the boundaries of his writing, both narratively and sonically. His concerts across Europe (SPOT, Reeperbahn Festival, WAVES Vienna, The Great Escape, Philharmonie Luxembourg, Rotondes…) confirm a captivating stage presence, where his voice becomes that beam of light slipping into the cracks of everyday life.
