FRENCH DREAM POP
L’éphémère
French dream pop that moves between intimate shadows and soaring rock textures.
l’éphémère is a Luxembourg-based dream pop duo formed by Elise Nunes and Steve Richer. United on stage and in life, they create intimate, melancholic songs that move between shadow and light, fragility and strength.
Working closely with producer Sacha Hanlet, l’éphémère blends dreamy French pop with rock-infused textures: haunting piano loops, reverberated vocals, atmospheric guitars and emotionally charged string arrangements. Their sound is shaped by a desire to explore inner landscapes—grief, desire, loss, resilience and the quiet hope that can emerge from darkness.
Drawing inspiration from artists such as Charlotte Gainsbourg, Beth Gibbons, Soap&Skin, Pink Floyd, Florence + The Machine and Chelsea Wolfe, l’éphémère builds immersive, cinematic songs that invite listeners into a deeply personal emotional space.
Their debut EP, Résilience, released in December 2025, brings together six songs about healing past wounds, accepting vulnerability and learning to live with one’s inner demons. On stage, the duo expands into a trio with drummer Tom Roilgen.
The name l’éphémère reflects a memento mori philosophy: life can change in an instant, so every moment deserves to be fully lived.
l’éphémère is available as a trio project on stage.
